TRADE SHOW PRESENTER

In a little change of pace I'm currently in the middle of a summer long road show around the country working as a presenter for LG Appliances as part of the Sears Only Appliance Excellence tour.

I initially took this job simply because I needed some work but it's turned out to be a great experience and opened up a whole new way for me to work as a performer.  If you take the right approach and have the right attitude, working as a trade show presenter can be just like another form of live performance that lets me display my talents.
 

Hannah Montana Movie

I just booked a small part in the Hannah Montana movie shooting in the Nashville in May.

It's pretty exciting to be working on what will probably be one of the biggest movies of 2009

Nothing But The Truth

Had fun working last week as background on Nothing But the Truth with Matt Dillon, Angela Bassett and director Rob Lurie.

 

I've booked a national commercial for the Time-Life Legends of the Grand Ole Opry DVD Set.  It will shoot the first week of September and begin running about 45 days later.

Also found out today I'm going to be starting a six week Meisner acting class .

Just back from shooting a music video with Christian rap artist Mr. Del - the original 3rd member of the Oscar winning Memphis group Three Six Mafia.

Watch for me as the hip hop dancer banker.

Just got back from a great couple of days in Nashville shooting a commercial for Shoney’s Restaurants.

The commercial was promoting the sale of Shoney’s Gift Cards and I did another fun character bit in which I wrapped up a cheeseburger to give as a gift.

The spot should start airing around the Southeast in 4-6 weeks so keep an eye out for it.

In the past week I've been able to do two very small, very short scenes in a couple of local indie films - it was great to go out and just 'do a little acting'
